Diesel Locomotive Renovation
ListerTrading engineers are very skilled in the renovation and refurbishment of older engines. Especially when we are challenged by the lack of replacement parts!
One good example of this in an old Industrial Locomotive in the Abyek Cement Factory. The factory for Diema in Germany closed many years ago and no company could offer an overhaul of the locomotive.
About 3 years ago Abyek Cement asked us to overhaul this locomotive that is very important for the Abyek Cement for moving the fuel and freight wagons. There was no possibility of this locomotive being replaced.
We had the skills to overhaul the engine and the main gearbox of this locomotive. The main problem was finding parts. After searching worldwide we were left with the only option to manufacture our own replacement parts from the old parts worn parts.
Recently we received another call from the Abyek Cement for visiting the locomotive again. This time we needed to overhaul one of the differential gears which had been overloaded from the high pressure.

Atlas-Copco
We were recently contacted by the the Aluminum Pars factory that is located in Save. It is one of the largest Aluminum factory in the Middle East.
We imported, and installed for them, the Atlas-Copco high pressure compressor(LT 20-30 , 30 Bar , capacity:17 L/S) for the Aluminum Pars factory that is located in Save.
We are also providing many compressor parts and more units for them.
They choose our company because of the speed or response, wide knowledge and good pricing, even in preference to the main manufacturers agents.

Lister JWS6 Gen-set
This Lister engine is located in an important Holly shrine in Tehran, being one of five Lister Gen-sets originally gifted to the Holly shrine. They provide backup electricity and we are overhauling them one by one.
Stock-Werkspoor Gen Set
This Stork-Werkspoor Gen-set that is located in the Abyek Cement factory.
We have overhauled this Gen-Set after being able to acquire the manuals for this engine type. it is often very difficult to find technical information on older machines and we have built up quite a library of information.
Skoda diesel generator
This generator set is located in NAB STEEL factory in Salman Shahr city in Caspian Sea in north of Iran. So we needed 3 trips of some 300Km to bring the Skoda to our workshop. You may be surprised to know that this area of Iran has high mountains with heavy snow in winter.
This Skoda has a crankshaft is 120 MM. There was damage to the main bearing and crankshaft.
Our engineers decided to change the crankshaft and a complete set of bearing and one more new connecting rod. As with many projects, there were problems in finding parts and those parts available are often at inflated prices. However we were able to rebuild the crankshaft while it was still in the engine using our workshop facilities. After some research we found compatible sized bearings from another diesel engine. The connecting rod was again refurbished in our workshop.
